Description
This type of headgear was designed as early as 1859 but most known examples date to AFTER the Civil War years. This particular hat does have original Civil War era insignia and Massachusetts side buttons but was likely used from 1866-1885 based on other known examples. Original red pom pom is included as shown. Looks awesome in any headgear or artillery related collection!
