Description

Really honest officer grade kepi hat as found in the attic of a home near Columbus, Georgia–it still has some of the red clay from the dirt dobber nests inside it when found!  Unfortunately the actual regiment state is unknown–could be several that were in the region.  Part of the lining is missing, exposing the hemp fiber support cloth typically found on headgear made in the South–but for sure, it’s a Yankee cap!  Inexpensive example due to overall condition.
