A fine example of the classic form, massive Confederate arsenal grade fighting knife manufactured by Louis Froelich at the Confederate States Armory (Wilmington and Kenansville, NC) circa 1862-3. These knives, also called cutlasses by some, are well crafted and durable. This example retains a portion of the original tin mounted leather scabbard which is NEVER with these 99% of the time, so that’s an added plus! The only regret you will have on this gem is if you DON’T buy it….
