Description
100% authentic and original standard Civil War Union infantry oval US buckle with arrowhead hooks on the original well-worn standard issue leather belt. This old veteran surfaced at an auction in Illinois and was once part of a local history museum display. It has a few professional repairs as you can see, but clearly was field worn and has a wonderful age patina. The solder filled brass buckle is near fine and the original brass keeper is still on the belt.
