Description
Fine battlefield recovered belt plate with NO repairs and in as-found condition. The “puppy paw” stud type is the early War issued plates and often issued to cavalry troops from New York. This example, according to the previous owners notes, was recovered near Fredericksburg, Virginia several decades ago. Not an easy plate to find these days!
