Description
Fine DUG example of the type manufactured by E.M. Lewis of Richmond, Virginia, from 1861-1864 with a perfect shank, just as recovered at Malvern Hill, Virginia. The button was found on private property adjoining a known battlefield area with full permission of the owner.
