Very nice example of an early 19th century eagle head officer grade sword with original scabbard.  Swords like this were carried in the Seminole, Mexican and Civil Wars alike.  This example is in very good overall condition with a solid grip and decent blade etching, plus some charcoal blue!  It has the “chicken eagle neck” quillion often found on pre-1840 patterns.
