Absolutely stunning weapon that was professionally refinished in 1939, fresh from an old Florida collection. The weapon was brought back to its factory new look and has flawless action and a perfect bore. The only detraction is the saddle bar is missing. The inspector cartouche outline is visible in the walnut stock. During the refinishing process, unfortunately the serial number was removed–but if you want an example of one that looks like a NEW one looked like around 1861-1862, this one is for your collection. A no apology weapon overall.
