Description
This is a relatively scarce small bore single shot pistol that was popular with soldiers and civilians alike who needed a little backup gun! With a brass frame, swivel barrel and fine oiled walnut grips, this little pocket gun packed a punch! It was easily concealed and is often called a “boot pistol” as that’s where they often were carried!
This gun was found in the attic of a house near Burgaw, NC, that was built in the late 1840s era. It functions well and has moderate oxidation mostly on the barrel. Will clean to VG+ if so desired.
