Description

Fine example of the standard belt buckle of the Union Army and also used by Confederate officers in the field.  The plate exhibits a beautiful American eagle design and is made of cast brass, then overwashed in gilt.  This example displays a dark age patina overall.  A wonderful addition to any collection.
