Rhode Island staff officer hat, a regulation Civil War Union M1858 Hardee that clearly was worn as a slouch hat by an early War officer. Fresh from the Brimfield, Massachusetts antique extravaganza! Two minor breaks in the crown and missing the original sweat band; original “Army Hat” label intact. If you like Little Rhody stuff, well….
