Description

Excellent example of the standard regulation field uniform of the plains from 1874 until 1883, unlined and with original chevrons for an infantry corporal.  These jackets saw heavy field use and many were used well into the era of the Spanish American War of 1898.  Very fine example and fresh from an old 1960’s collection we just purchased–not been on the market for over 50+ years!
