US Civil War M1860 Navy cutlass and scabbard

Description

Exceptional example of the standard Civil War cutlass as made by Ames in 1862 under direct US Navy contract.  This example retains the early pattern scabbard with rivets down the back.  Overall condition is very good to fine.
