Description
This is a very fine example of the early WW2 helmet worn by members of the German military and political forces. This one has been repainted at some point in time in heavy, thick black enamel and the decals applied over the paint. It appears to have originally been painted black, indicating possible SS issue, but was found in a defunct VFW hall in the current condition with very little history. If it is a true SS, it Is priced at about 1/7th of retail—if not, it’s still a bargain for an early war M35. You could perhaps peel back the paint and see what is under there but I won’t!
