Fine example of this rare DUG button as manufactured by Hyde and Goodrich, New Orleans, Louisiana, with original shank and 35%+ original gilt on face. This fine Confederate Artillery uniform button was recovered from private property with the full permission of the owner from an area known involved in the Battle of Petersburg, Virginia.
