Description
This is a great example of one of the several thousand Enfields imported via the Confederate broker agent firm of Isaac Campbell Company as evidenced by the oval “IC” cartouche opposite the lockplate of the firearm.
All parts are original, the action is very strong and the bore exhibits only light to moderate pitting. Very honest example of one of the primary arms of the Confederate Infantry from 1861-1865 in as-found condition, fresh from an estate sale near Mobile, Alabama.
