Japanese Samurai Helmet with ties and mon

Description

Beautiful example of lacquered armor from Imperial Japan.  This piece of headgear was brought back from Okinawa by a local US Marine who served in the Pacific from 1944-1945.  The family mon is painted on the front in gold.
