This is an exceptional overall example of this classic military firearm which somehow has managed to remain it the original flintlock condition! This beauty surfaced as part of a very old gun collection that began in the 1920s and lasted until now—we managed to purchase several dozen exceptional weapons that haven’t seen the open market in over 100 years!
Overall condition is near armory bright and all markings are clean and crisp. Mechanically the weapon is in pristine condition and other than missing the two sling swivels, is complete. It clearly has been well maintained for many decades and is a rare beauty to behold.
