Original Civil War Tower Enfield .577 socket bayonet

Description

Semi-relic condition and found in the attic of a barn near Hagerstown, Maryland, in the 1950s.  At some point somebody painted it with black enamel (easily removed).  Locking mechanism and ring intact.  Maker marks obscured by the paint!
