Description
Very rare regulation Confederate battleflag circa late 1863 through 1864. Approximately 36″ on the hoist x 54″ on the fly, which adheres to regulations for both Trans-Mississippi and Army of Tennessee units. This fine historical example has been professionally conserved and archivally framed utilizing acid free materials, a high grade custom aluminum skeletal frame and UV rated plexiglass. Pictures simply do not show how well it displays due to reflections in the images. Museum and investment grade. Many more important provenance details available by request. The pattern is often called the “Dalton” variety of 1864 by some collectors.
